We’ve made some big changes to our platform and we’re looking for a handful of journalists or bloggers to review our service. In return we’re willing to do a free audit on one of your children and provide six months of monitoring (a $139 value).
Specifically we’re looking for reviews from parents who write about parenting and have kids who are old enough to be active online – let’s say in grades 7 through 12.
Here’s what we do: ThirdParent is a service for parents who want to get a better handle on what their kids are doing online so they can ensure safe and appropriate online activity. There is nothing to download and no software to install. We ask for a few pieces of information – child name, email address, school name and hometown – and we compile a complete profile of the child’s public online accounts and social media accounts, and flag any activity that may be unsafe or inappropriate. We also give recommendations for corrective action so that parents can fix issues quickly and easily.
Our Social Score report, which is delivered confidentially, look like this:
We are the only company that does it this way, and believe that not asking for social media user names or passwords and not installing software on kids’ devices gets parents the answers they need while still respecting their kids’ privacy.
We want to know what you think.
Please don’t feel like you have to write a glowing review. We’re looking for honest feedback. If you have questions in the course of writing your review, we will make a staff member available to get you the answers you need.
If you’re interested in applying, please send your name, your website URL, your Twitter handle and any other relevant details to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll complete the free audit prior to your writing the review.
Thanks for reading.
